Made-to-Order Fulfillment
All products are produced on demand through our print partners. This means each item is created specifically for you once the order is placed.
Please allow 2–5 business days for production before your order ships. Production times may vary depending on seasonality, stock availability, or current order volume.
Total Estimated Delivery Times (Production + Shipping)
The total estimated time until your order reaches you is the sum of the production time and the shipping time.

These are estimated time frames provided by our partner carriers. Actual delivery may vary due to customs clearance, peak seasons, local postal services, and other external factors.
Shipping Costs
Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on destination, weight, and quantity of items. Free shipping promotions, if available, will be clearly stated at checkout.
Split Shipments
If your order contains multiple items, they may be shipped separately from different fulfillment centers (e.g., US or EU warehouse). You will receive individual tracking information for each shipment.
Customs, Duties & Taxes
International shipments may be subject to import duties, VAT, and/or customs fees. These charges are determined by your local customs authority and are the customer’s responsibility.

EU/EEA Customers: VAT/MVA handling follows local regulations. If VAT is included in the product price (Delivery Duty Paid - DDP), this will be clearly indicated at checkout.
- Norwegian Customers: You may be subject to Value Added Tax (MVA) upon import if the value of the order exceeds the applicable exemption threshold.
Tracking
Once your order ships, you will receive an email with a tracking number. Please allow up to 48 hours for the tracking information to update within the carrier's system.
Shipping Delays
We are not responsible for delays caused by:
- Shipping carriers
- Customs processing
- Force majeure events (natural disasters, strikes, pandemics, etc.)
If your package is significantly delayed, please contact us at customerservice@alvebakken.no and we will assist in filing a claim with the carrier.
Wrong Address Disclaimer
It is your responsibility to provide an accurate and complete shipping address at checkout. If an address is incorrect or incomplete, the package may be returned or lost. We cannot guarantee replacements or refunds for orders with incorrect addresses.
Lost or Missing Packages
If your package is lost in transit, contact us within 30 days of the estimated delivery date at customerservice@alvebakken.no. After verification, we will issue a replacement or refund.
